At your level, rated as you solve

The bank holds 33,146 puzzles from the Lichess puzzle database, rated from 400 to 2800 across 72 themes. Your rating moves with each first attempt, worked out the way Lichess does, and the next puzzle is chosen near it: easier, normal or harder, as you like.

Train one theme at a time, such as forks, pins, back-rank mates or rook endings, or a mix that practises your weakest theme every third puzzle.

Learn from what you miss

A wrong first move or a hint counts the puzzle as missed, though you can still finish it, and it comes back as a flashcard of its first move. After each answer, a sentence says why the solution works, where the rules can tell: a mate, a fork, a pin, material won.
